Colonic Irrigation in London
What Happens
Before we begin
We start with a thorough consultation to discuss your health history and goals. Your dignity is our priority, and you’ll have complete privacy to change into a medical gown in a clinical yet comfortable environment.
During the session
The session uses gravity-fed, warm filtered water, and I use gentle external abdominal massage techniques throughout. The system is fully enclosed and piped directly to the drainage system — discreet, contained, and far more straightforward than most people expect.
Afterwards
Before you leave, we'll take a quick few minutes to go over some practical suggestions based on our session. This brief wrap-up gives you a few helpful tips to take away with you, all fully included in your session fee.
Hygiene, safety and your dignity
Your safety and comfort come first. I use single-use, disposable equipment for every client without exception, and the session takes place in a private room where your dignity is respected at every stage. I'm fully insured, registered with the CNHC, and work to the ARCH code of practice.
Is a colonic suitable for me?
Colon hydrotherapy isn't suitable for everyone. It's not appropriate if you're pregnant, or if you have certain medical conditions such as active inflammatory bowel disease, severe haemorrhoids, recent abdominal or bowel surgery, kidney or heart failure, or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
If you have any diagnosed medical condition, or you're currently taking medication, please get in touch by phone or email before booking. That way we can talk it through beforehand and make sure the session is right for you — and if it isn't, I'll tell you.
Colon hydrotherapy is a complementary therapy and not a substitute for medical care. It doesn't diagnose, treat or cure medical conditions.
How to prepare
A few gentle adjustments to your diet before and after your appointment will make the session more comfortable.
The day before and the day after
What to eat:
Stick to hydrating, plant-based food where you can — soups, stews, steamed vegetables, fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, brown rice and quinoa.
What to avoid:
Heavy, rich or gas-forming foods. That means going easy on bread, dairy, alcohol and fizzy drinks.
Hydration:
Drink plenty of water throughout.
On the day of your appointment
You're welcome to eat lightly on the day of your session, but please avoid food for two hours before and two hours after your appointment. If you need to eat at regular intervals for medical reasons, that takes priority — just let me know when you book.
Prices
